Racing at Road Atlanta
Sort of a strange weekend. We went to Road Atlanta
on something of a mini-streak and left... well, we aren't sure were we are
right now! Dan drove the Cobra to a fifth place finish and never challenged for
the lead. That was enough to basically lock up third place in the East Coast
Championship for Team Elam. Harry was testing the Coupe and was hit by a bird
or something similar that caused damage to the car. On Sunday, it was Harry
racing the Cobra and Dan racing the Daytona Coupe in it's first race. Harry
ended up in a late race accident that means some work prior to Nationals. Dan
fought with the Coupe to win his class (against just one other car) and showed
that the Coupe can be fast, but it is going to take some time.
