Each year Civil War re-enactors come out to the
Robert E. Lee monument in front of our house. They 'guard' the statue of
Robert E. Lee (and sometimes the other statues on Monument Ave). What has
turned out to be amazing is how the cold weather manages to come in just before
these guys go out there. Two days ago it was 70 degrees and the temp for
these brave souls will be just in the 20s. It seems to happen this way
each year!
